Alongside the standing pieces, the studio occasionally follows an idea somewhere it hasn't been- an interpretation of the same theme pursued for its own sake.

Aetheron Vinea

Where the original Aetheron traces a clean architectural spiral, this piece grows differently. It's been reworked into a narrower silhouette with delicate curling tendrils.

These tendrils echo a grapevine reaching for its next hold. This one-off study reimagines the Aetheron as something closer to a living plant than a sculpture.

Caught mid-climb, glasses suspend like fruit along the vine. A study in organic form and functional art.

Apeiron Kithara

A variation on a familiar theme. The twin-spiral Apeiron, built the same way as always — white oak bent far past what the material is normally willing to do — then taken somewhere else entirely in the finishing.

The base is curly maple, stained black into the figure and covered in a deep red burst, finish and the spirals a deep black - in a nod towards guitar making.

Aetheron Kithara

The same theme, drawn upward. Two glasses lifted three feet into the air on a single black spiral of white oak, bent far past what the material is normally willing to do.
Beneath them, a curly maple base stained black into the figure and finished in a deep red burst, in the spirit of guitar making. Thirty-six inches tall — it does not sit quietly on a counter, it takes the room.
